I usually don't do 3 posts in one day, but this one is necessary. I don't know if you have heard of Silas Blackburn or not, but he is a 2 year old boy who has been in the fight of his life with Neuroblastoma...a fatal cancer that mainly targets children. It consists of tumors that grow rapidly throughout the body and is a very fast moving cancer. His family has been on deputation as missionaries to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and are out of Truth Baptist Church in Florida. Silas has had his ups and downs, but this time he seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I just received word that right now, he has become blind due to cancer behind his eye and is on morphine for pain. He is in SO MUCH PAIN that he cries until he passes out.
His family is asking that we pray that God heals him or takes him home. They are having great difficulty seeing their child in so much pain and suffering. I am in tears as I write this because I have a little one and can't even begin to imagine what I would do if something were to happen to her. God knows the plan for her life, but times like these help me appreciate, love and hold her close so much more.
So, anyway, please pray for God's perfect will to be done and for Silas' family to have peace during this terrible time. I will try to update as I get information but for now, that is all I have. PLEASE PRAY...thankyou.
