The little, brown "duck tail" curls at the base of her neck,
The long eyelashes,
The big hazel eyes,
The chubby cheeks,
The long fingers and toes,
The little belly button,
The tiny teeth,
The little voice,
The pink and white bunny slippers,
The curiosity of life...in general,
The splashing in the tub,
The drowsy snuggles before bedtime,
The little tongue hanging out when she doesn't want to eat a certain food,
The hand motions when she hears me singing,
The way she walks...teetering from side to side,
The joy that she IS,
The love that she BRINGS,
The laughter that she PROVOKES,
The pitter patter of her little feet,
The way she "reads" books,
The dependence that she has,
The good days,
The bad days,
The in-between days...
For all these little things, I thank you Lord. Help me never take for granted this little life with which You have blessed us.
